An unidentified flying object (UFO), in its most general definition, is any apparent anomaly in the sky that is not identifiable as a known object or occurrence. Such anomalies may later be identified, but depending on the evidence or lack of evidence, such identification may not be possible, generally leaving the anomaly unexplained. While stories of unexplained apparitions have been told since antiquity, the term "UFO" was officially created in 1953 by the United States Air Force (USAF) to serve as a catch-all for all such reports.

It was stated that a "UFOB" was "any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features, does not kowtow to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be positively identified as a familiar object." As originally defined, the term was restricted to that fraction of cases which remained unidentified after investigation, with USAF interest being for potential national security reasons. UFO enthusiast claim to have spotted Barack Obama's head on the Martian surface.

They says a panoramic image from 2005 taken by the Spirit rover shows a rock shaped uncannily like the President's head   and that it could be part of a statue. It is the most recent in a long line of claims of heads and other structures on the thousands of images sent back from the Martian surface by Nasa's rovers. The novel image is taken from the Spirit Rover's Pancam 'Everest' panorama, acquired on sols 620 from a position in the Columbia Hills at the true summit of Husband Hill on the Martian surface. It was released online by NASA, and even turned into an interactive vista. This is really amazing and unbelievable.
